The sun seen though the thick smoke and falling ash in Paradise, CA during the Camp Fire.
Thankfully, the fire, as of today (7-13-08) has not crossed the river into the town limits and is 65% contained. However, our neighboring town of Concow has lost at least fifty homes and so far one person has been confirmed killed.
Despite the name, Paradise has not been a pleasant place to be the last few months.
